I am a Tucson-based jewelry artist with a background in education and mathematics, having a Master of Arts degree from the University of Arizona. After more than twenty years teaching early elementary grades, I turned my lifelong love of nature, rocks,patterns, and structure into a jewelry practice, founding my business in 2013.
Working primarily in mixed media, I combine metal, sterling silver, leather, semi-precious stones, glass and pearls to create a wide range of wearable designs, including cuffs,multi-strand, stone and pendant necklaces, layered chains, and stone-embellished earrings. My work explores contrast and balance—smooth and rough textures, matte and shine, and variations in scale—while emphasizing craftsmanship, durability, and comfort.
I have participated in numerous juried exhibitions and art festivals with the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA), including the La Encantada Fine Arts Festival, St. Philip’s Plaza, Oro Valley Festival of the Arts, and the Catalyst, and have exhibited at the Chris Bubany Artist Gallery and It’s a Blast! Glass Gallery.
